First off please excuse me if i sound a little bit weird today as i am on multiple pain killers, antibiotics, and other medications.
Today has been a rather lazy one for me after having my tonsils removed yesterday. Knowing i was going to feel this way after the surgery i stopped by barnes and noble to pick up several books to keep me entertained for these couple weeks.
Anyways today i started reading a book by the name of A Personal Stand written by Trace Adkins, and i must admit this might be my favorite book of all time in fact im having a hard time not reading the whole book today(which is quite unusual for me). I would highly recommend it to anyone! Trace Adkins has definitley captured my attention, he seems to be one of the only authentic blue-collar American men around still today who is willing to stand up for whats right in this world. I think his point of Americans not needing to live in fear of the middle east is awesome as he states in the book "...if you permit this stuff to go on in your own countries, by God, I will end this now. We will all go to our maker and we'll let Him decide who was right." which goes hand in hand with what we are dealing with in North Korea right now.
Anyways im off to watch the CMT awards which Trace Adkins just so happens to be appearing in, but really read his book I would seriously consider voting for him as president in 2012 if we could get him to run.

The Beginning
Let me start by introducing myself, my name is Robert Farquharson I live in the great state of Texas and will be a senior in high school next year. The reason for me beginning this blog is to share my experience of life's ups and downs with anyone who cares to hear them, and what better time to start than today after having my tonsils removed and the doctor telling my to my defiance im not cleared to work out for another 2 weeks?(hopefully this can keep my busy).
The upcoming year is definitely a promising one, as is any senior year but in addition im going to get to see my biggest celebrity crush ever(Taylor Swift) in concert in September not to mention the 7th row seats, im hoping to make it out to the Red River Showdown between Texas and OU even though we all know deep down OU will win, there is even a possibility my parents might take me to Australia for my 18th birthday, oh and i forgot to mention from July 4th- August 15thill be working at a Christian Summer Camp by the name of Sky Ranch as a day camp counselor, which im really looking forward to!
I hope ya'll took a slight interest and will continue to read whatever it is that i write, i promise all my future posts will be much more meaningful, this one was mainly just to let you all know what this is all about, but i promise to share everything with you and not hold anything back. Please tell me how you feel about it through your comments!
oh and p.s. in case you haven't noticed my spelling and grammar is not the best:]
